Tips to maximize your impact

Extend your boomerang off minions
Throw Avengerang (Q) through minions toward your opponent: each enemy hit extends its range, and it deals damage both on the way out and on the way back.
Jump off at the right time
Jump off Heroic Swing (E) as soon as you're well placed: you don't have to finish the swing, and the jump fires one last shot.
Kill the Scoundrel to revive allies
Focus the Scoundrels marked by Going Rogue (W) first: killing one revives the allies they killed and gives you bonus gold.
Roam along walls
Roam with Going Rogue (W) along walls and brush: away from terrain, you lose your camouflage quickly.

How to counter and exploit weaknesses

Cut his swing short
Step into the path of Heroic Swing (E) rather than turning your back: any contact with you ends the swing, and with it his repeated shots.
Hide behind a minion
Put a minion between you and him when he charges Comeuppance (R): the bullets stop on the first champion, minion or structure hit.
Watch out after a kill
After you kill one of his allies, keep your distance from Akshan: Going Rogue (W) marks you, and if he kills you, he revives the allies you killed.
