How to counter and exploit weaknesses

Punish her between combos: Riven has cooldowns between Q casts, and when everything is on CD she can't do anything.

Her E shield has a 10-6s cooldown: trade after it expires.

Champions who stack armor and take short trades counter her well (Malphite, Poppy).
