Playing as LeBlanc

Tips to maximize your impact

  1. Pop your sigil with a spell

    After Sigil of Malice (Q), hit the target with another ability: the sigil only detonates on a spell, not on an auto.

  2. Distortion in, then come back

    Take your trades with Distortion (W): within 4 seconds, recast it to return to where you started.

  3. Keep your target chained

    After Ethereal Chains (E), keep the target chained for 1.5 seconds: they're then rooted and take extra damage, giving you time to land your burst.

  4. Look for isolated targets

    In the mid game, look for isolated targets rather than head-on teamfights: your burst focuses one target, and Distortion (W) then takes you back out.

Playing against Fizz

How to counter and exploit weaknesses

  1. Play hard without his E

    Take your trades when he doesn't have Playful (E), in the early levels or right after he uses it: it's his only dodge, on a 16 to 8 second cooldown.

  2. Back off when his trident glows

    Back off after the empowered Seastone Trident (W) auto: if it doesn't kill, his autos deal bonus magic damage for a few seconds.

  3. Dodge his fish

    Dodge the Chum the Waters (R) fish by stepping aside: it attaches to the first champion hit and slows them, then a shark knocks them into the air.

  4. Move away if the fish has you

    If the Chum the Waters (R) fish attaches to you, move away from your allies: the shark knocks back and damages everyone around you.
