Playing against Leona

How to counter and exploit weaknesses

1

Respect her level 2: if Leona hits level 2 first, back off immediately because her E+Q engage is deadly.

2

Stay away from your ADC: if she E's onto you and your ADC is nearby, her allies can focus both of you.

3

Punish her when her E is on cooldown (12-8s): Leona without engage is a melee support with no utility.

4

Champions with disengage (Janna, Morgana) counter Leona: an anti-CC shield or knockback cancels her entire combo.
