Kled rides his trusty steed, Skaarl, who takes damage for him. When Skaarl's health depletes, Kled dismounts. While dismounted, Kled's abilities change and he deals less damage to champions. Kled can restore Skaarl's courage by fighting enemies. At maximum courage, Kled remounts with a portion of Skaarl's health.

Playing as Renekton
Tips to maximize your impact
- Ruthless Predator at 50 Fury
Save 50 Fury for Ruthless Predator (W): empowered, it strikes three times, destroys shields and stuns for 1.5 seconds instead of 0.75.
- In and out with Slice and Dice
Take your trades with Slice and Dice (E): one dash to go in, your combo, then the recast to get out, available if the first dash hit.
- Dominus at the start of your all-in
Cast Dominus (R) at the start of your all-in: you gain max health and Fury, and damage nearby enemies every second.
- Get ahead in lane
Play aggressively in lane and look for an early lead: Renekton is strongest before everyone has their items.
Playing against Kled
How to counter and exploit weaknesses
- Move away if he hooks you
If Bear Trap on a Rope (Q) hooks you, move away from him right away: he only rips the trap out, with damage and a pull, if he stays near you for a short moment.
- Short trades
Take a short trade, then back off: Violent Tendencies (W) gives him 4 fast autos, and the fourth deals damage based on your max health.
- Hit him while he's on foot
When Skaarl goes down, hit Kled without letup: on foot, he deals less damage to champions, and Skaarl, the Cowardly Lizard (passive) remounts him once his courage is back.
- Get out of his charge's path
When he casts Chaaaaaaaarge!!! (R), get out of his path: Skaarl rushes the first champion in the way, and hits harder after a long charge.
