Playing as Rumble

Tips to maximize your impact

  1. Stay in the Danger Zone

Keep your Heat between 50 and 100%: Junkyard Titan (passive) then empowers your spells, but at 100%, overheating locks them for a few seconds.

  2. Burn them up close

Stay close during Flamespitter (Q): the cone burns your target for 3 seconds, with damage based on their max health.

  3. Two harpoons to stick to them

Hit your target with both Electro Harpoon (E) shots: the second slows harder and lowers their magic resist further, which helps keep them in your Flamespitter (Q).

  4. The Equalizer in a chokepoint

Cast The Equalizer (R) in a chokepoint, on an objective or on their escape route: the trail of fire slows everyone who crosses it and burns them every second.

Playing against Anivia

How to counter and exploit weaknesses

  1. Sidestep her ice

Dodge Flash Frost (Q) by stepping to the side: without the chill, Frostbite (E) doesn't double its damage.

  2. Play hard before she hits 6

Push your wave and take trades before she hits level 6: without Glacial Storm (R), she struggles to clear the wave and can't hold an area.

  3. Drain her mana

Force her to spend her mana: Flash Frost (Q) costs 80 to 100 mana, and Glacial Storm (R) drains some every second.

  4. Destroy the egg right away

Focus the Rebirth (passive) egg as soon as it appears: if it hatches, she comes back to life at full health.
