Playing as Sivir
Tips to maximize your impact
- Hit going out and coming back
Position so Boomerang Blade (Q) hits on the way out and on the way back: it damages every enemy it passes through, but less after hitting a minion.
- Ricochet right after an auto
Cast Ricochet (W) right after an auto: it resets your auto immediately, and the next ones bounce to nearby enemies.
- Save your shield for their CC
Save Spell Shield (E) for the stun or root aimed at you: it blocks the next enemy ability, and heals and speeds you up if it blocks.
- On The Hunt to engage or escape
Cast On The Hunt (R) to engage or escape as a group: nearby allies gain move speed, and your autos on champions reduce your cooldowns.
Playing against Hwei
How to counter and exploit weaknesses
- Trade after his damage spell
Trade after he uses a damage spell: Devastating Fire (QQ), Severing Bolt (QW) and Molten Fissure (QE) share a 10 to 6 second cooldown.
- Don't stand still or alone
Don't stand still or alone: Severing Bolt (QW) strikes after a delay and deals more damage to isolated or immobilized enemies.
- Jump on him if you can
If you can engage, jump on him right after one of his CC spells: Hwei has no dash or leap, and Subject: Torment (E) has a 12 to 10 second cooldown.
- Move away from the ally hit by his R
If an ally is hit by Spiraling Despair (R), move away from them: the vision expands around its target, slows and damages nearby enemies, then explodes.
