Friend of the Forest (P)

Ivern cannot attack or be attacked by non-epic monsters. Ivern can create magical groves on jungle camps which grow over time. When the grove is fully grown, Ivern may free the monsters to receive gold and experience.

Playing as Viego

Tips to maximize your impact

  1. An auto after each spell

Weave in an auto after each spell: thanks to Blade of the Ruined King (Q), your first attack on an enemy damaged by an ability strikes twice and heals you.

  2. Fully charge Spectral Maw

Charge Spectral Maw (W) when you have time: the longer the charge, the longer the first enemy hit stays stunned, but you're slowed in the meantime.

  3. Strike from the Mist

Cast Harrowed Path (E) on a wall near your target: inside the Mist, you're camouflaged and gain move speed and attack speed.

  4. Hit the wraith to possess the champion

After a kill, hit the wraith to trigger Sovereign's Domination (passive): you restore health and take their basic spells and items, but not their ult.

  5. Finish with Heartbreaker

Cast Heartbreaker (R) to finish: you leave the possessed body and strike the champion with the lowest health percentage, with damage based on their missing health.

Playing against Ivern

How to counter and exploit weaknesses

  1. Stay behind your minions

Keep your minions between you and Ivern: Rootcaller (Q) roots the first enemy hit, and his allies can then dash to you.

  2. Avoid his brush

Don't fight in or near the brush from Brushmaker (W): Ivern and his nearby allies gain bonus magic damage on their autos there.

  3. Don't take three hits from Daisy

Focus Daisy! (R) or leave her range before her 3rd consecutive auto on you: it triggers a shockwave that knocks everyone it hits into the air.

  4. Take his camps

Take his camps while his groves grow: Friend of the Forest (passive) stops him from attacking non-epic monsters, so he has to wait for a grove to grow before he can free them.
