Playing as Cho'Gath

Tips to maximize your impact

  1. Aim Rupture where they're going

Aim Rupture (Q) where your opponent is going, not where they are: the area knocks them into the air and slows them.

  2. Silence after the knock-up

Follow a successful Rupture (Q) with Feral Scream (W): the silence stops them from casting spells, dashes included.

  3. Charge your spikes before a trade

Cast Vorpal Spikes (E) before a trade: your next 3 autos launch spikes that slow enemies in front of you and deal damage based on their max health.

  4. Eat as soon as Feast is up

Finish with Feast (R) as soon as it's up: each kill gives you permanent max health, but minions and non-epic monsters only give a limited amount.

Playing against Yone

How to counter and exploit weaknesses

  1. Back off after two Mortal Steels

Get out of his line after two Mortal Steel (Q) hits: the next one makes him dash forward and knocks the enemies hit into the air.

  2. Avoid his hits in spirit form

During Soul Unbound (E), avoid taking hits: when he snaps back, part of all the damage he dealt you is repeated.

  3. Trap his return

If you have ground-targeted CC, place it on the body he left behind: when Soul Unbound (E) ends, he has to return there.

  4. Judge him by his crit items

Judge his threat by his crit items more than his level: Way of the Hunter (passive) raises his critical strike chance, so each crit item does more for him.

  5. Don't line up with your allies

In teamfights, don't line up with your allies in front of him: Fate Sealed (R) hits every enemy in a line and knocks them into the air toward him.
