Your Q (Howling Gale) can be charged for more distance and knockup — but an instant Q is often better for reactive peel.

R (Monsoon) heals allies in the zone and knocks back enemies — use it to peel for your carry or disengage a fight.

W (Zephyr) is a targeted slow/damage — poke with it in lane between autos.

E (Eye of the Storm) shields and grants AD — place it on your ADC BEFORE they trade to maximize damage.

Janna excels at disengage — don't make predictable engages, she cancels them all with Q or R.

Her R makes her vulnerable because she channels: interrupt it with CC (or flank to force her to R without value).

Janna is very squishy and weak in direct combat: if you catch her alone, she dies easily.

Multiple engages (two CCs back to back) are effective: she can cancel the first but not the second.
