Playing as Lee Sin

Tips to maximize your impact

  1. Kick your target into your team

For the Insec, land Sonic Wave (Q), reach the target, ward behind them and jump to it with Safeguard (W): Dragon's Rage (R) kicks them toward your team.

  2. Recast Q on a low-health target

Wait until your target has lost health before casting Resonating Strike (Q): its damage scales with missing health, and you have 3 seconds to cast it.

  3. Ward hop to escape

Cast Safeguard (W) on an ally, minions included, or on a ward to dodge or escape: it has a 7-second cooldown and also shields the targeted allied champion.

  4. Get ahead early

Look for invades, ganks and objectives early on: Lee Sin is strongest early, and his impact drops once the others have their items.

Playing against Hecarim

How to counter and exploit weaknesses

  1. Leave the landing point of his R

When he casts Onslaught of Shadows (R), move away from the end of his dash: the shockwave there fears every nearby enemy, longer after a long run.

  2. Save your CC for his charge

If you have a slow or CC, save it for Devastating Charge (E): he gains speed as he runs, and Warpath (passive) turns it into AD.

  3. Save your burst for after his W

Wait for Spirit of Dread (W) to end before your burst: while it lasts, he gains armor and magic resist and heals from damage dealt around him.

  4. Ward his gank paths

Ward his gank paths: Devastating Charge (E) gains speed over time, so he looks to build momentum in the fog of war.
