Playing as Vex

Tips to maximize your impact

  1. Save your empowered spell for a dash

When Doom 'n Gloom (passive) is ready, save Personal Space (W) for the enemy who jumps on you: the shockwave fears them and interrupts their dash, and you gain a shield.

  2. Make every dash cost them

When an enemy dashes near you, Doom 'n Gloom (passive) marks them: hit them with Mistral Bolt (Q) for bonus damage, and your empowerment comes back sooner.

  3. Ult in, then Personal Space

After the Shadow Surge (R) dash, follow up with Personal Space (W): the shield protects you on arrival, and the shockwave fears if Doom 'n Gloom (passive) is ready.

  4. Chain your ults

If the champion marked by Shadow Surge (R) dies shortly after being hit by it, its cooldown is reset for a moment: recast it right away at another target.

Playing against Nasus

How to counter and exploit weaknesses

  1. Deny his farm early

Early on, take a trade whenever he steps up to last-hit a minion: each kill with Siphoning Strike (Q) increases its damage for the whole game.

  2. Freeze near your tower

Freeze the wave near your tower: to farm with Siphoning Strike (Q), he then has to step up and expose himself to ganks.

  3. Wait out his storm

Once he hits level 6, don't engage during Fury of the Sands (R): for 15 seconds, he gains health and resistances, and his area damage scales with your max health.

  4. Hit him while backing off

In teamfights, if you're ranged, hit him while backing off: he has no dash, only Wither (W), a slow that grows stronger over time.
