Playing as Yunara
Tips to maximize your impact
- Slow with Arc of Judgment
Hit with Arc of Judgment (W) before a trade: the prayer bead slows your target, then damages them every second, and it reaches 1150, well beyond your autos.
- Judge your power by your crit items
Measure your power by your crit items: with Vow of the First Lands (passive), each of your critical strikes deals bonus magic damage.
- Use Cultivation of Spirit when charged
Once your autos have charged Cultivation of Spirit (Q), activate it for a trade or a teamfight: you gain attack speed, and your autos spread to nearby enemies.
- Transcend for the teamfight
Cast Transcend One's Self (R) as the teamfight starts: your basic spells are upgraded, Arc of Ruin (W) fires a laser, and Untouchable Shadow (E) gives you a dash.
Playing against Hwei
How to counter and exploit weaknesses
- Trade after his damage spell
Trade after he uses a damage spell: Devastating Fire (QQ), Severing Bolt (QW) and Molten Fissure (QE) share a 10 to 6 second cooldown.
- Don't stand still or alone
Don't stand still or alone: Severing Bolt (QW) strikes after a delay and deals more damage to isolated or immobilized enemies.
- Jump on him if you can
If you can engage, jump on him right after one of his CC spells: Hwei has no dash or leap, and Subject: Torment (E) has a 12 to 10 second cooldown.
- Move away from the ally hit by his R
If an ally is hit by Spiraling Despair (R), move away from them: the vision expands around its target, slows and damages nearby enemies, then explodes.
