Tips to maximize your impact

Track your ball before each combo
Keep an eye on your ball before every combo, because Command: Dissonance (W) and Command: Shockwave (R) come from it, not from you.
Attack, then Dissonance
Send your ball to your target with Command: Attack (Q), then cast Command: Dissonance (W), which damages and slows them and speeds up nearby allies.
Autos on the same target
Weave autos on the same target between spells: Clockwork Windup (passive) adds magic damage that grows with each auto on them.
Ball on the ally who engages
Attach your ball to the ally who engages with Command: Protect (E), which shields them, then cast Command: Shockwave (R) when they land in the middle of the enemies.

How to counter and exploit weaknesses

Stay out of her ball's line
Don't stand in the path of her ball, because Command: Attack (Q) damages every enemy it passes through before stopping.
Target her when her ball is far
If you can engage, target Orianna when her ball is far from her: her spells come from the ball, and she has no dash.
Don't group near her ball
In teamfights, don't stay grouped with your allies near her ball, because Command: Shockwave (R) pulls every nearby enemy toward it.
Watch the ally carrying her ball
Back off when her ball is attached to an ally diving your team: Command: Shockwave (R) will then come from them.
