Passive, spells and ultimate

Eternal Hunger (P)

Warwick's basic attacks deal bonus magic damage. If Warwick is below 50% health, he heals the same amount. If Warwick is below 25% health, this healing triples.

Playing as Ornn

Tips to maximize your impact

  1. Pillar, then Searing Charge into it

Cast Volcanic Rupture (Q) behind your target, then Searing Charge (E) into the pillar: when you hit that terrain, enemies around you take a knock-up.

  2. Bellows Breath before your trade

Cast Bellows Breath (W) before your trade: nothing stops you during the breath, and the final burst of flame makes the target brittle, so your next auto knocks them back.

  3. Send your elemental back

Recast Call of the Forge God (R) to ram the elemental: redirected, it knocks the first champion it hits into the air, then the next ones, and makes them brittle again.

  4. Forge your allies' masterworks

Create masterwork items for your allies as soon as you can: Living Forge (passive) upgrades their items too, not just yours.

Playing against Warwick

How to counter and exploit weaknesses

  1. Stay above 50% health

Keep your health above 50%: below that, Blood Hunt (W) gives him speed toward you and attack speed, three times more below 25%.

  2. Finish him fast below 50% health

When he drops below 50% health, finish him fast, with CC if you have any: Eternal Hunger (passive) then heals him with each auto, three times more below 25%.

  3. Don't count on a dash to escape

If you have a dash, don't count on it to escape his held bite: Jaws of the Beast (Q) makes him follow all your movement, then leap behind you.

  4. Stay behind your tanky allies

In teamfights, stay behind your tankiest allies: Infinite Duress (R) suppresses the first champion hit, and its range grows with his move speed.

  5. Cut his healing

If you have Grievous Wounds, apply it to him: his autos heal him at low health, and Infinite Duress (R) heals him for all the damage it deals.
