Playing as Trundle

Tips to maximize your impact

  1. Open your trades with Chomp

Start your trades with Chomp (Q): the empowered auto slows your target, then steals some of their attack damage, which matters most against a physical damage dealer.

  2. Trade near the wave

Take your trades near the wave: King's Tribute (passive) heals you for part of the max health of each enemy that dies near you, minions included.

  3. Fight in your domain

Place Frozen Domain (W) where the fight will happen and draw the enemy into it: inside, you gain move speed, attack speed and increased healing.

  4. Cut off their escape with your pillar

Place Pillar of Ice (E) behind the fleeing enemy: it blocks their path and slows nearby enemies.

  5. Steal the tank's resists

Cast Subjugate (R) on the enemy tank: you steal part of their armor and magic resist, and your team can focus them down.

Playing against Hecarim

How to counter and exploit weaknesses

  1. Leave the landing point of his R

When he casts Onslaught of Shadows (R), move away from the end of his dash: the shockwave there fears every nearby enemy, longer after a long run.

  2. Save your CC for his charge

If you have a slow or CC, save it for Devastating Charge (E): he gains speed as he runs, and Warpath (passive) turns it into AD.

  3. Save your burst for after his W

Wait for Spirit of Dread (W) to end before your burst: while it lasts, he gains armor and magic resist and heals from damage dealt around him.

  4. Ward his gank paths

Ward his gank paths: Devastating Charge (E) gains speed over time, so he looks to build momentum in the fog of war.
