Mark of the Kindred (P)

Kindred can mark targets to Hunt. Successfully completing a Hunt permanently empowers Kindred's basic abilities. Every 4 hunts completed also increases Kindred's basic attack range.

Playing as Cho'Gath

Tips to maximize your impact

  1. Aim Rupture where they're going

Aim Rupture (Q) where your opponent is going, not where they are: the area knocks them into the air and slows them.

  2. Silence after the knock-up

Follow a successful Rupture (Q) with Feral Scream (W): the silence stops them from casting spells, dashes included.

  3. Charge your spikes before a trade

Cast Vorpal Spikes (E) before a trade: your next 3 autos launch spikes that slow enemies in front of you and deal damage based on their max health.

  4. Eat as soon as Feast is up

Finish with Feast (R) as soon as it's up: each kill gives you permanent max health, but minions and non-epic monsters only give a limited amount.

Playing against Kindred

How to counter and exploit weaknesses

  1. Move away after their E

When Mounting Dread (E) hits you, move away: Kindred's third auto on you sends Wolf, who strikes based on your missing health.

  2. Leave Wolf's zone

Leave the Wolf's Frenzy (W) zone: inside, Wolf bites Lamb's target based on their current health, and Dance of Arrows (Q) comes back much faster.

  3. Use their R zone to your advantage

At low health, step into the zone of Lamb's Respite (R): no one dies there, enemies included, and everyone inside is healed at the end.

  4. Contest their hunts

Contest the monsters Kindred hunts: each successful hunt from Mark of the Kindred (passive) empowers their spells for the rest of the game, and every 4, their range.
