Playing as Yasuo

Tips to maximize your impact

  1. Charge your whirlwind on minions

Hit twice with Steel Tempest (Q), on minions if needed, to charge the whirlwind. Cast it during Sweeping Blade (E): the strike becomes a circle.

  2. Move to charge your shield

Keep moving before taking a trade: Way of the Wanderer (passive) builds your shield while you move, and it triggers on the first hit you take.

  3. Dash from minion to minion

Chain Sweeping Blade (E) on different targets to reposition or dodge: each target has its own cooldown, so the spell comes back almost instantly.

  4. Save Wind Wall for what matters

Save Wind Wall (W) for a projectile that decides the teamfight, like Jinx's ult, rather than for poke: it blocks for 4 seconds, on a 25 to 17 second cooldown.

  5. Use your allies' knock-ups

Watch for your allies' knock-ups: Last Breath (R) can be cast on any airborne champion, whether the knock-up comes from your whirlwind or Malphite's ult.

Playing against LeBlanc

How to counter and exploit weaknesses

  1. Break her chain

As soon as Ethereal Chains (E) tethers you, move away from her: if you stay chained for 1.5 seconds, you're rooted and take extra damage.

  2. Trade after her Distortion

Trade while Distortion (W) is on cooldown: it's her dash both to get in and to get out, and it comes back in 15 to 10 seconds.

  3. Save your protection for her burst

If you have a shield or a heal, save it for her combo: Sigil of Malice (Q) detonates as soon as another spell hits you, and all her damage lands at once.

  4. Aim at her return point

If you have CC, aim at the starting point of her Distortion (W): within 4 seconds, she can return there by recasting the spell.

  5. Don't hit the wrong LeBlanc

When she drops below 40% health, find the real LeBlanc before hitting: Mirror Image (passive) makes her invisible for 1 second and leaves a copy that deals no damage.
